The Carnival in Umbria

In Foligno the Baroque Carnival  is celebrated with various sacred and secular events that evoke events from the 16th and 17th centuries. The Carnival of Sant’Eraclio in Foligno, which features floats and masks, adheres more closely to the rich carnival tradition and involves the entire population.
